What is Stripe, Respaid's banking partner?

Have you received an email from your account manager informing you that your Stripe online account has been restricted?

This is good news, as it means that Stripe is noticing a significant number of transactions and would like to check the legitimacy of your account.

To proceed, you must provide an identification document or company document on the platform. These verifications can only be performed by you for security reasons.

Once Stripe effectively verifies the documents provided by you, your account will be reactivated, and no further action will be required on your part.

: It is crucial to understand that Stripe’s document review is not done instantly. To avoid blocking incoming funds due to an expired deadline, please submit your documents as soon as possible.

My connected Stripe account is restricted. How can I reactivate my account?

Stripe transfers can contain multiple settled folders, which is why every week you receive a summary Excel file containing the details of settled items to facilitate your payouts process.

You can also obtain the details of each Stripe transfer in your bank account through the payouts tab (left menu on the screen) of your Respaid interface.

As soon as a debtor settles their debt through the provided secure payment link, the funds are automatically transferred within 1 day for the purpose of being deposited into the creditor's bank account. From this point, it takes up to five (5) days for the transfer to appear in the creditor's bank account. This processing time imposed by banking timelines is the same for all American accounts.

I received a Stripe transfer. How can I determine which case this transfer belongs to ?

What is Respaid's KYC policy?

If your account has been rejected, it's simply because Stripe has determined that your account violates the terms of use of the service.

As a result, any payments from the debtor's side as well as transfers from your connected account will be blocked.

Why was my account rejected?

ACH direct debit payments are subject to an ACH mandate validation step by the customer's bank. As per estimates, this step can take between 4 and 14 working days, but on average, it lasts around 5 days.

Once the customer's bank has validated the mandate, Respaid initiates the transfer to your Stripe account immediately. The time required for the funds to appear in your bank account (bank transfer processing time) is typically 5 to 7 working days, whether it's for ACH direct debit payments or credit card payments.

It's important to note that Respaid never holds funds from transactions made on the platform.
